My month-old Dell 2407 has a tiny bug inside running around. Never happened with my old Apple LCD that I had for about 7 years.
I'm tempted to squash it, but a Google search of this problem tells me it's not a good idea. Stupid thing is driving me crazy!

Sounds like a manufacturing defect to me. Any monitor should keep bugs out. I would try to get it replaced under warranty.

Just keep hoping it is one and only one, incapable of multiplying.

My son, whose eyesight is vastly better than mine, says that it's a red spider. It's about as big as a comma. After about 10 hours, it's gone.
