Blue Screen on Start Up

So the last couple of days I awaken my MacPro and it comes up with a blue screen and the animated clock thingy. What gives? I always log out and it goes to sleep in about 5 minutes. Every day same way. But the last couple of days is having me force shut it down and restart a couple of times. I am at a loss.

Do a safe-boot... hold down shift key on startup.

Then restart normally.

See if that clears up your problem.

If not then unplug all USB devices other than your Apple keyboard and mouse.
