dotmac mail effed, and tomorrow's Tuesday....

Accessing my dotmac mail has been just about impossible this afternoon via IMAP, and sluggish as heck with the Web interface. Apple's dotmac status page has this to say:

100% of members might experience slower than normal response when using IMAP mail. Mail can be sent and received using .Mac webmail. Normal service will be restored ASAP.

Interesting. Could they be tinkering at something behind the scenes?

I can get it via the web site but that's about it. I think that they are indeed tinkering in relation to the "mobile.me" or whatever upgrade.
