He has found a good loving home!

The energetic, friendly and affectionate 2 year old 9.2 lbs Maltese/Poodle mutt we had fostered for the past two weeks found a permanent loving home today. His new mommy lost her two poodles 10 months ago due to old age. It was too much for her that she didn't want to own any more dogs. Well, Benji caught her eyes and captured her heart Friday night on his walk with me! We miss the lit' guy already.

Now we are waiting to foster another one. We don't get the dogs from the shelters nor rescue groups. We get them from private citizens who can no longer keep the animals. Don, We follow many of Cesar Millan's training techniques.

=wr= My family thinks so as well even tho' they are concerned when they see how stress I can get from worrying about not finding a good home for the dogs.

That's a great story. Three of the four dogs we have had in our lifetime have been "used" dogs. It's a great way to get a dog, and it's a great thing you are doing for dogs. Good for you!

Funny, I wasn't such a big time animal loving type four years ago. All it took was one dog. And I have personally witnessed the same transforming occurrences with our friends and acquaintances.
Compared to all those we have rescued and fostered, our own dog has many issues. For all his flaws, we adore him any way. Hey, the guy loves us unconditionally. We must return the favor  Thank you all for the compliments. |
