I bought one of the high power kits and built it with my teenage son.

We have a great time using it to turn off the annoying neighbors outdoor TV when it is on so loud that you can hear it all the way down the block! He still hasn't figured out what is happening!!!

Does it work to turn off the voices of the neighbors - particularly the screaming of their adolescent girls? If so, I'll take ten!

No. But it works just fine for turning off the damn TV which sits right below our bedroom window...
