I have eight stripped beige G3 towers and desktops. I'm hauling them to the town dump/recycling center next week. Not interested in selling them, shipping them, or parting them out for a few paltry nickels. Anyone near Boston want a few?

I CL'd my G3 about a year ago. It was a pain - but I finally got someone to take it. I think you will find it an effort to give them away. I will look through my email to see if I can find the guy (in Boston) who took it - he seemed interested in old macs.

Just offer it for free on craigslist. Recyclers will paw at your door for anything that's free and made of plastic and metal. "Free scrap metal/plastic" in the headline should work.

J&R in Manhattan had a half dozen B&W G3s for $99 each. They weren't attracting much interest.

I'd rush right over, but my buggy wheels needs new spokes, and my horses are afraid of all those cars.

Hmmm... if you still have 'em, stuff I might be interested in:
1) The 'Wings' personality card
2) The VRAM chip
3) The RAM/hard drives
... we have a few of those at my institution, they're still useful for the fact of the AV capabilities being built in-- too bad those same capabilities don't work in OS X.
