I bought a Chicago Tribune to look for the FULL PAGE AD

. . . and was surprised as heck to find it about 3/4 way through the first section.
No other mention of it anywhere in the paper though (have only skimmed thus far).
Looking forward to this being laid to rest.

According to the Trib's rate card that ad cost $95,130 to run. That is expensive BS.

I don't get the Monday paper as part of my delivery subscription. May have to pick one up while I am out later- I am sure it will be a "keeper!" Wink

'fil: I priced general circulation, open rate. That's $755 an inch times 126 inches. Political ads are generally charged at the open rate in order to head off any charges of favoritism.

How does payment usually work? Cash up front, or is there a possibility that they'll get stiffed for $95K.
