FYI, it looks like Chambliss has defeated Martin for Senate in GA

We were just watching a snippet of the local news, and it looks like Saxby Chambliss will be going back to Washington. I'm not sure if the Al Franken race will ever be decided. It looks like it may be going to court around the 19th of December.

I think these are the only two remaining Senate seats that were in question.

yipee! Not surprising. This is a red-state we live in after all. I'm sure that those of us on here did our part to keep that from happening, but I would have been shocked if Martin had won.

The people who elected George Wallace their governor are entitled to whatever sort of representation they choose in their Senator.

George Wallace was Australian? Back here in the old country we never knew that.

I agree with that, but we are talking about Georgia, not Alabama.
