We suspended shipments to it when gas went up in May. Why in the world aren't we refilling it now?
Why aren't we filling back up the Strategic Petroleum Reserve?

There's been no news about it since the bill was passed to suspend shipments in May.
If you find something, let me know.

I don't ever recall hearing news about the reserve being replenished. It's only news when we open it up.

The Bush admin. was asked to stop filling it when crude peaked this year
and did but he didn't like it. It's probably too cheap now and his friends won't make as much as before. $1.56 today when I filled up. It was so cheap I almost just kept the pump going, wishing to spray gas everywhere in a petro-fueled never ending moneyshot of liquified slimy powerfull pleasure as I confidently rammed the nozzle again and again into the tank.
edit for typo (to take OUT a typo, that is. Nevermind.)
