Just finished watching the last regular season episode of Battlestar Galactica

(I haven't watched the recent webisodes titled "The Face of the Enemy")

Man, what can I say! I'm not sure where to begin, so maybe I won't begin at all. So many questions though. My brother pointed me to one guy's conjecture of what's going on:

OK, that explains it then. I don't need to watch the upcoming new Battlestar season.

I love the series. Haven't seen the webisodes, suppose I should.
That wikia page though . . . by the second paragraph I lose my desire to ever watch the show again. Reminds me of the folks that sit around and study klingon . . .

BSG was the best show on TV for the first two seasons, but the writers went off the rails early in the third year and never recovered IMO.

I believe this line from The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy book is appropriate.

"I think this is all getting needlessly messianic"

What the H was wrong with buzzing around through space finding strange people and planets, and screwing with them ? I miss:
Star Trek, the Original Battlestar Glactica, Sliders, etc..

I would have to agree, but I think that the 1st season was some of the most compelling television in the history of television.

I know nobody here (or anywhere) will agree with me, but anyone who watched Star Trek: Deep Space 9 watched Moore getting the chops that enabled him to create this series in its last 2 seasons.
