Last generation 2.4 ghz, 15 inch screen, 2 gb ram, 200gb hard drive from ClubMac for $1299 after rebate.
(though, after purchasing it, I did read about the Nvidia graphics card failure rate on this model--hopefully I got a good one)
Also have an Airport Extreme base station coming from Amazon. Hopefully that will arrive soon as their warehouse is just across the river from me.
Time to go play.....
Pictures later....

Umm, I have the same model should I buy Apple Care? My MBP is about three months old.

posting from my new Macbook Pro.
Kap--Apple has a two year replacement warranty on the card, but I did see Apple care for Mac Pros at Expercom for $249, which is a $100 cheaper than list.
First time I've ever had a laptop. Really like the glossy screen, though I can see how in a bright place, it might be bothersome.
Laptops are really a different experience, aren't they? Keyboard, track pad, no number pad.
Love its near silence, will take some time to get use to the smaller keyboard and the 15 inch screen--just having bought a 24 incher for my desktop.
Read that some don't think the screen tilts back enough, but tilts plenty for me.
I did buy a nice notebook bag--free with rebate.

I'm looking at the previous gen MacBooks but keep wanting a MacBook Pro... Going from a desktop I'm just not sure which way to go.
