"Bobby" Jindal

Anybody watch this dork's rebuttal? He's the "shining hope" of the republican party.

Without going into the astounding levels of hypocrisy and wrongheaded rhetoric dispensed by the Louisiana Governor, mick e will opt for a more personal observation.

He closed his eyes and saw Kenneth The NBC Page from "30 Rock". Only without the prescience or incisiveness.

I'm curious at why you and others that disagree with people's ideas or politics are compelled to call them derogatory names like "dork" etc. It seems like we can disagree with an individual without resorting to such street corner descriptions. Surely your education and personal lexicon can be less harry hi school than that.

If you have evidence that he is NOT a dork, feel free to present it here.

He is not a dork. He is actually doing a good job in Louisiana--and the degree of difficulty there is extreme. He's saddled with the tired old GOP rhetoric about tax cuts and rugged individualism, though. He delivered it as best he could.

Yet it doesn't bother you when Swampy uses derogatory terms to describe your President? Why is that?

Nobody forced him to take that lead. The new face of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, Bobby Jindal and Sarah Palin - not a fat white country club dude in sight.

So he spent the whole time talking about the irresponsibility of the stimulus, and how the government should not be involved in channeling funds to help people emerge from this economic crisis.

How do you think Louisiana's recovery would be going without federal assistance money?

Just wondering.

I hardly know the man but let me say this. Your tribe claims to be the sole voice of immigrants, the poor, the underprivileged, the downtrodden, the browns and the blacks. Ordinarily, they are infallible. They are the virtuous amongst us. They are the children of God. This country is blessed to have them here. Except. Except when they leave your heavily guarded reservation and stop drinking the Kool-Aid. That is when the guards in the watch towers open up. You see, the only good immigrant is a liberal immigrant.
