TROJAN HORSE WAS FOUND!!!
#1
That is what Avast is telling me whenever I try to access this website: www.sgvhumane.org. I still can't access it even after Avast is deactivated. I have no problems with any other websites. What else should I do? TiA

No problems in Firefox, it's just Safari throws up that Google warning.

I am using FireFox 3.0.7 on our desktop HP Pavillion Slimline s3719t running Vista Home Premium SP1. No problem with my MBP nor the ThinkPad.

It looks like their server is having some issues or maintenance. It is generating a message showing that it is running CentOS and Apache2.2.3. So it might be a temporary problem.

no joking about this sutff...my wife's toshiba has that MS Antispyware 2009 trojan/malware...totally hosed her computer. We're paving and re-installing.

I can't believe anybody willingly puts up with this crap. we're dumping it for a macbook when they're next updated...

yes, they march across the screen in varying intervals, flashing signs saying "you have spyware! You must by MS Antispyware 2009 immeidately"..

of course, there's no way to close the windows and i can't run any other programs..not even in safe mode.

ugh.

Here might be a solution: Go to this site: then to the page that describes one of the members encounters with that evil spyware. He got hit a few times but seems to have figured out how to deal with it.

Another reason to use Mac OSX or Linux.
