We are due for another.

I lived in Valencia, just north of LA, in 1970 when the big 7.x quake hit there. Not fun at all.

No such animal as a fun earthquake.

I remember there was a 7.8 predicted in 2007.

Whatever happened with that?

I've lived through a small one here in New England and a small one in Orange County when I was out there, and in neither place was it considered fortuitous to pray for another one.
