Got my Bonus credit from DirecTV for 10yrs as customer
#1
Set up my dish 10 years ago and have been a subscriber to their service since then. Got a letter from them saying to check my next bill for a thank you credit for being a customer for so long. I estimate that I spent over $8000 dollars with them over that time was truly honored when I checked my bill and saw a 9.99 credit for 10 years of loyalty or approx a rebate of 00.1%. It should have come with this card.

Now that's what I call an incentive. So if any of you are DTV customers you may only have a few years to go to get this major award.

If you make a big deal about something and under-deliver, you will be mocked. If you just give a credit with an small explanation, it would probably be more appreciated.

honestly - why bother...

it's only gonna make think about how much you've spent over the years and might lead you to think that it's time for something new.

We've been subscribers for over 13 years, but split between two accounts because when we moved 5 years ago, it was a better deal to have my wife be a "new" subscriber.

However, they just sent us a letter saying we're getting Showtime free for the next year. No strings attached. That's better than a one-time $9.99 credit.

bet it'll be added to your bill unless you cancel it after the free period is over...

I got three months of Showtime. No strings attached. I TiVo'd a couple of movies. Went back recently to look for more and it is all gone now.
