Joe's Sports is going under. Confirmed.

I got an automated phone call about some special order ammo that has been pending a while. Just last week I called and was told by a human that it might be another 3 months, because of the run on arms and ammo. Fine, just stocking up at a great price

Now I got this call this afternoon telling me to travel to the nearest store and get a refund by the 24th, because of the liquidation and closing of the chain. Not some stores closing, not reorganization, but the whole thing is getting shut down and sold off.

Yep, Formerly G.I. Joe's. I just started to shop there about 1 year or so ago when 2 opened up in North Seattle and on the East Side of the lake by work.

Great prices, especially on ammo on sale. I snagged about 6 cases of synthetic blend oil for 69 cents a quart A/R last summer. They had their rebates handled by Continental, and when Continental went under, Joe's cut me a check based on a phone call. They trusted my word. Very nice customer service each and every time I shopped there, or had a problem.

Sad to see them go.

not to highjack the topic, but there was a web site called GI Jane (or something like that). I looked up this website a few days ago and I could not find it. Does anyone know if they're still in business, and what is the URL?

The trend continues: Chick's Sporting Goods store has been taken over by Dick's.
