My Midland Severe Weather Alert Radio is sounding off like crazy!

We've had it for about 5 months but today this the first time it's really
been warning us. You program it for your area. I hear there's 2 dead in
TN from tornadoes.

Yikes. At least hurricane season here doesn't begin for another couple of months. No bad weather here until Sunday/Monday.

I just spent 25 minutes in the basement with my family due to a tornado warning for our area. The sirens have stopped now, so it's time to put the kiddos to bed.

Grateful11, it is heading to us later tonight. We seem to get these bad thunderstorms around o'dark thirty lately. Our Midland will be screaming later tonight, I am sure.

Lots of red on the radar all day today but when they get here they disapate, sometimes reforming on the east side of town!

Something there is about the Ohio River valley that changes storms. Any number of them fade away just as they get here. But not always. Sometimes they charge up the river like a locomotive.
