Need a toner supploer - should i go with lasermonks?

just bought an hp 1320. lasermonks has good pricing on their carts. i'm tempted to save $40 and go with a generic.

has anyone used them before? their generics?

I've seen their site, though I've never bought from them. I've had a good relationship with Voltexx.com and am basically a loyal customer at this point.

But I usually avoid generics and remanufactured cartridges, if only because I have had a bad history with them (those types of carts in general, not any particular seller). Toner not so much; one of my clients used generics or refurbs exclusively; at most they had the first few dozen to half a hundred sheets come out spotty.

I've refilled before. That really is a savings. You can refill a cartridge about 2-3 times before the printout degrades too much.

I've had good luck with www.tonerkits.com. They sell just the toner, to refill the old cartridge yourself .
