Yikes.
================ Reviewed By: on 4/13/2009 Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: none. Cons: The Read/Write speeds are so slow as to make this product unusable on my Dell Mini 9. I would not suggest purchasing this product.

I have the super talent in my mini 9 and it plows along just fine, in fact I commented to my wife on how fast it was to do normal day to day tasks. The only time it seemed slow was during big software updates or when I had alot of programs running at the same time. It may not be the fastest but I think it is just fine.

My original Dell mini 9 has a RunCore SSD & I put a Super-Talent SSD in the last one I got. The ST Dell boots up faster than the RunCore Dell but that might be because there are more applications on the RunCore drive.
I can't see any difference between the 2 in everyday use. Both play video on hulu.com fine as well as Netflix Watch Instantly. There's no question that the RunCore benchmarks much higher than the Super-Talent SSD but I have to wonder what that really means for a typical netbook user who is going to surf the Internet & read email.

The link from the hot deals page says that one is sata, won't work in the dell mini. Does the one AAA linked to also work with the coupon?
