epson 1260 and tiger compatibility

has anyone got their epson 1260 scanner to work with tiger? i need to scan some stuff and i can't get it going.

I suppose it's too much to ask you to actually go to Epson's website and download the scanner driver for 10.4.4 and higher ...

I actually found it by simply typing in "Epson 1260 OS X" in Google. The driver was the TOP HIT.

The driver chas_m is talking about says it is for intel based Macs.

JJ looked a little closer and found out what i did. so you might want to take your own advice there chasm.

anyway, i'm not looking for someone to go and do the work specifically for me, i'm lookig for someone that may be in the same boat. advice like that is precious and what makes forums like these such a good thing. if you don't have anything nice (or helpful, or funny) to say, then don't say anyhting.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the epson driver? I've had to do that for several software updates. GL
