If you're talking about tethering to a cell phone, make sure you don't have a low ceiling (<5GB?) on the data plan before you drop DSL.

A lot of the "unlimited data" plans are actually limited.

I'm enjoying tethering my 3GS at least for the time being since Time Warner has seen fit to destroy my cable connection.

None of the major carriers have unlimited data. You better start watching your data usage closely. Overages are expensive. Bastards!!!

Actually besides the Data usage, tethering is prohibited by the TOS....Like silvarios so succinctly stated "Bastards"
