Apple .Me Galleries - Anyway to Make Pics Bigger?
#1
I've been using Apple's .Me picture gallery service to send photo samples to friends. One problem I keep running into is the fact that the pics are fairly small when you click on them. I know they can be downloaded at full rez, but not everyone is savvy enough to get this far in the process.

Is there any way to make the photos bigger in the gallery?

Fairly small? You mean not uncompressed? I just tested .me gallery. When I click on the thumbnail image within the grid, it takes me to a much larger single image. The pic is fairly large when I click on it. Medium to large. I measured the size of one by hitting the 'i' button, it's about 180k. The display size is generous sized. This much larger image is still "fairly small" for what you have in mind? The photos are optimized for the web. Are you attempting to send them photos that are at a resolution worthy of print rather than web?

When I said "not uncompressed", that's an error. I mean, maybe you want images that aren't compressed. Not optimized for the web, but full-sized, hi resolution, more suitable for printing.

In the Me Gallery, you click a small photo, it takes you to a large photo. In your message, if I understand correctly, you're saying that even the "big" photo isn't big enough.

True?
