I just had someone do a buy it now on 3 large Lego plates and I sent them an Invoice with calculated shipping for all 3 which came to $7.10 for shipping. When I sent it the next page said a Critical Error occurred. I didn't think much about as I got a copy of the Invoice through email and it was correct. Here's where I think eBay fouled it up, they removed the Insurance Option on all auctions today but didn't remove the option from the Invoices being sent and I marked it "insurance optional", as I always do on cheaper items. Well guess what, the Invoice the buyer got had shipping of $0.00 and when I went to the Order Details the Invoice said Free shipping and the other two items said shipped with above item but if you click on any 3 of the item links the shipping says $4.90 on each item. I realize eBay thinks they're perfect and don't make mistakes but they did this time. It now takes 4-5 days to get a response through their email system and it appears Live Help is no longer available, at least I can't find it anyway. I thought I could send them another Invoice and add the shipping and put in a discount of the item totals and that way they could pay only the shipping but eBay undoubtedly will not allow me send anther Invoice for a certain period of time because the option to send an Invoice is gone on these items. In the past I've always been able to send another Invoice if someone hasn't paid or contacted us in 5 or 6 days.
When these Legos are gone that's it for me I've had with eBay! Our feedback hit 3300 today and my DSR ratings are rising but it just became too much of hassle.
