Recessed Fixtures (or Receptables)
#1
I wonder if they make recessed fixtures for 110V outlets and also for network ports and TV cable. Sometimes I wish I could put the furniture right next to the wall, but there is an outlet I need to use and if the outlet were recessed by about 2” (5 cm) inside the wall that would make room for the bulky plug.

EDIT: I just realized the work "fixture" may not be the right word, perhaps I should say receptacles? you know, the rectangular white plate on the wall or around the light switch. Thanks

I think you should say "orifice"

An alternate solution might be a short extension cord that has a flat plug designed for these tight space areas.

Here is an example.

Sometimes it's nice to have a resource for 'better' search words to put in teh google.

Probably extra handy if english is not your primary brain wave.

Just type "recessed receptacles" or "recessed outlets" into that box at the top right of your browser and press the "enter" key and you'll find lots of places to buy them. Oh, and just type "google" into google and I'm sure you'll figure that out too.
