So I bought one of those desktop Vornado fans on Woot a few days ago

And, since my collection of external drives, etc (TM BU, NAS, cable modem, Airport Extreme, USB hub) is right behind the fan, it blows the heat from them on my face. It should be nice once winter comes to S FL, but for now I'll stick with the floor model Vornado. Just sayin'.
It does draw a measly 3 watts on low compared to 30 on low for the floor model 630. Maybe I can set it somewhere else.

I have, I think, the same fan (the one with the "floppy blades", right?) I have it on my desk at such an angle that it blows against my iMac and the adjacent monitor, pushing some of the heat away.

Was thinking about getting one to put in the entertainment center, for all the devices, but mostly the stupid Comcast box which is typically very hot to the touch.
