Please Help Vote for Kikka!

If any of you have a mind to help out ....

Kikka was one of the twelve finalists in the Cutest Dog Contest, out of 60,000 dogs entered! He is not only the only GSD to make it this far, he is also the only large breed dog to make it. Now it's time to vote for the final four dogs in the contest, only vote per day/per user allowed. The judges will be making the final decision, but they are allowing for voting and posting on the sites blog to possibly "influence" those judges decision on which dogs to pick. If you'd like to post on the blog (http://cutestdogcompetition.com/blog), showing support for Kikka that would be cool.
Now - I know you all hate to hear me beg for votes and I hate doing it, it's only my love for Kikka that drives me to do this. But, that said, I think it's really the judges who will make the final call on which dogs they pick, but this is just a nice way to show your support for my sweet baby.

If we should win the overall contest I will be making a yearly donation to Serendipity German Shepherd Rescue (http://www.serendipitygsd.org/), as I receive payouts from the contest pay-out (once a year, for 30 years).

Lol - thank you kiddo. No biggy - I think the judges will pick who they are going to pick, no matter what, but seeing some votes up there would look nice I guess.

Well, it's gone public now, so I can share this info with you all...

The final four dogs will be picked tonight and then it will be the Oprah show on Wednesday for those four finalists! This has been going back and forth since late Friday night, and is the root of some of my stress this weekend. I talked to one of the producers for the Oprah show yesterday, and answered a whole slew of questions for her (Kirstin). We also have uploaded quite a few pics and videos to the Harpo studios own ftp server (that was cool), and I have traded emails with several other people from the Oprah show, as well as the CEO from this contest, trying to iron out releases and such.

We’re in a Starbucks right now, but need to get to a fax machine to move forward with this process.

It took a lot of work to register and to get to to right page where I could vote for the semi-finalists, but I did finally get there. Score another vote for Kikka.

Thank you - this is nerve wracking, they are supposed to announcing the final four dogs soon, so the Oprah show can make arrangements for those four to be in Chicago for rehearsal at 3:00 in the afternoon tomorrow, but none of us know a thing yet.
