Going to see KISS in concert tonight
#1
I have 5th row tickets on Gene Simmons' side of the stage. I've never seen them in concert, but their cheesy music is a guilty pleasure and their stage shows are always well done and seem to be a lot of fun.

I downloaded the KISS Concert Lighter iPhone app. last night. I (correctly) assumed there had to be an app for that.

I'm seriously thinking about going just for the hell of it. Nosebleed seats are only $20.

Kiss is a lousy band, but they're the greatest lousy band ever. I caught the first "makeup reunion" tour back in '95, and had a blast. Laughed my arse off...

I was with someone yesterday that said they were going to see KISS soon. Not sure where. Must be Chicago Nov 6, I'm guessing.

You should definitely go.

"We’ve poured millions back into the show to make sure there ain’t a bad seat in the house. When you get the cheaper seats way up in the peanut gallery, sometimes the sound isn’t good, you can’t see much. No such thing at our shows. ... And the technology has enabled us to put Kiss on steroids, if you will. ... Our stage show is also like a Transformers kit. You can take this show and it actually balloons up to stadium size. We can physically move it into itself, so that’s why it’s flexible with any size hall that we do. It only takes money. "

It's great to see cultural pursuits driving the leading edge of technology rather than military initiatives . . .

I saw them in '97 ond their "farewall" tour (HA!) and loved it.

We were way in the back, but at least Ace and Peter Criss were still in the band then.

It should still be a great time. enjoy !
