Looks like there's room and that it'd fit in there. I don't want to tear the flashes apart to find out otherwise. Anyone disassemble one of these Nikon flashes before?
Think I can remove the bounce card from a SB-80DX and put it in a SB-600?

Sounds like the sort of think I'd try. The thing I'd be concerned about is the flash housing being held together by clips (snap together). These can be tricky to separate without breaking anything.
Maybe a 3x5 card and a bit of tape instead? Good luck. - Winston

Probably would be interesting to try. I use a Lumiquest Bounce deal which I attach not with the adhesive provided but with the thick blue rubber bands that keep asparagus bunched together.

I got the foam paper from Walmart over 1 year ago. It still works great. I made a few more for friends who like it as well. Get one of those rubber wrist bands, which fit perfectly over the SB-600/SB-800....I got several for free (cancer awareness was giving them out).

I got a nice bounce setup. Problem is, I have gotten so used to the card that getting the bounce/diffuser out is irritating. I would much rather just pull up a card.
I'll probably end up with a 3x5 card and a rubber band. Maybe a chunk of plastic. There's velcro on the flash, so maybe I'll use that.

If you have money to spare, go for it.

People on ebay overpay for a lot of things, go for it.
