It was pretty darn good. Heath Ledger was amazing. Man, that guy was good at his craft. What a sad loss....

....enjoyed the movie so much...decided next vacation will be going there (for at least a week then heading to the island of Lesbos)......:wiggle:

I enjoyed the story but found myself fast forwarding several times past the long shots of the landscape. Yeah, it's pretty countryside; I get it.

As I watched, I found myself thinking that, if this was about a man and a woman, everybody would consider it a sappy romantic melodrama that depended mainly on swelling music and sweeping landscapes for its alleged depth.
