The wife and i enjoyed it thoroughly. however, they weren't kidding about the lens flares. Wow. I think there were more lens flares in the first 10 minutes than i have seen in every movie I have seen combined.

Lens flare? Man....it's star trek! Who cares about lens flare. The phasers. The communicators. The Orion Slave Girls!

Lens flare. I had to google that.
The reviews I've read on this movie say that it's great, or the worst Star Trek movie ever made. I'm not sure if I'll watch it or not.

I didn't have to Google "double post" - I knew what it was!!
So... is this lens flare movie about contact lens use and swelling/irritation?

It's worth watching. Some Star Trek is better than no Star Trek. The trouble is that it's an alternate reality Star Trek.

I saw it at the theater and the flares quickly became distracting.
The movie was still enjoyable but I wouldn't buy it unless there were a version with less lens flare. And more cowbell.

Thought it was a pretty good flick. Saw it this summer in the theater. It's nowhere near the best of the franchise, but wowzer's right - some's better than none.
