Actually, per MSNBC, it's been over a year of negotiations. And, GE will still be part owner for the next 3 years or so.

Good. Maybe Comcast will return the Weather Channel to what it should be rather than MSNBC with oh, by the way, here's the weather forecast.

Yes.

A lot of talk came up recently as the deal was about to close.


Without net neutrality this could be a bad thing.

With or without it, this will be a bad thing on different levels. I don't see Comcast pulling NBC out of its programming nose dive. Maybe if they lose Zucker, they can slow it, but I just don't have faith that Comcast can develop a successful Broadcast TV network like ABC or CBS.
