just watching an old STTNG and one of the aliens tells Picard that a "ship has bypassed their stargate".

First Season TNG? Some pretty wacky stuff happened that first season. Just watched the Traveller take the ship a billion light years into some stupid Age of Hallucination.

Heh. As a matter of fact. I just looked it up b/c I noticed it had a VERY young Robert Knepper. So it was easy to find. Its called "Haven".

I've been watching some TNG and had forgotten some of these things:

- The actor that played Tuvoc played a bad guy on an episode where they are running some sweep of the Enterprise and try to take the ship while it is empty. Picard goes back aboard for his riding saddle and stops them.

- The actor that played Tom Paris played a member of Wesley's cadet group who messed up a forbidden exercise and got someone killed.

- Ensign Ro got it on with Riker.
