Thinking of purchasing this
http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_100...000_201537 because this
http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_100...000_201537 truly sucks. Had to send it back to the manufacturer. The battery drained on its own even when it was off. After 10 uses, it never was capable of recharging again
EDIT: the former has better review rating than the latter.

Yes, based on recommendations here. No problems with the gear, but I haven't bought a light for years. My Cateye light is still going strong, even tho it's a halogen. I have good night vision, so I don't need a lot of candlepower.

Not been a biker for 20 years or more, but used to order from them in early 80s when you had
to use something called a "phone," and read ads in something called a "magazine."

Most of the clothes I wear everyday, most of the components on my bikes, panniers, tires, tubes, tools...yeah, Nashbar is my friend.

I use a minewt lite. I love that thing. It incinerates insects in my path because it is so bright. Charges via a standard USB cord so I can ride to work in the dark, charge while I'm there, and ride home in the dark.
