And in answer to N-OS X-tasy! from the last thread, they are, in fact, remaking the Last Dragon.

"Excuse me, but aren't you the producer who decided to re-make the 'Karate Kid'?"

"Why yes, yes I am..."

"That's what I thought..."

BANG!
thump.

Footsteps away.

Heh!

But it only gets worse. I heard a rumor the other day that they are going to re-make Conan The Barbarian. ::o

Stop mentioning "Karate Kid." I just lost another 15 minutes looking at Elisabeth Shue photos.

Rick-o

If they ruin Conan, or they do NOT use Basil Polidorus' "Anvil of Crom" for the music, I'm goin' on a killin' spree in Hollywood until I find who is responsible and make them pay.

There is no way they can capture the homoerotic undertones between Daniel-San and Mr. Miyagi.

:agree: Well, up to the point of going on a killing spree.

You know they'll screw the re-make up royally, and of course they won't use that excellent soundtrack from the original film.

The Polidorus soundtrack was perfectly scored for the original. I'm not much for buying soundtracks, but I bought that one with no regrets. I play it quite a bit, too! Good stuff in there.
