If you could visit any city in the world for 7 days, where would you go?

Let's pretend you have a week of free lodging in a fixed location, nearly anywhere in the world. You have to pay for transportation, and you are free to do whatever you want once you get there. Where would you go?

Hmmm. Probably Como Italy. The alps in Austria are just a few minutes away by car.

I haven't been there since 1995 but I will return one day.

Why a CITY?

And sorta related, I just spent the last hour taking and printing passport photos for our first passports.

I wish iPhoto had a "Print Passport Photo" button.

Because that's where you are most likely to find lodging. Most people live in buildings, and most of those buildings are grouped in to areas we call cities.

I don't think I'd want to spend an entire week in just one city.

If I had to pick it might be Florence Italy. There are enough other places within an easy train ride to keep things interesting.

There are so many choices it'd depend on the season and my mood at the moment. Right now I'm thinking Monte Carlo. Cannes, Paris, or Venice would be OK too. However, I've been to all those cities...Barcelona and Sydney would be top of my list for places I haven't visited yet.

From what I've heard, I think it would be Prague.

Probably Rome. Never been there. It's a Catholic thing.

Tough one.
I wouldn't want to waste it on a place I've been already, but of course I can't recommend a place I haven't been.
Of the places I've been it would be either London or Amsterdam though.
