It's snowing like mad in NC !

It's snowing hard, it wasn't suppose to start until later. This is the 4th or 5th snow storm this
season. Really unusual for us in the Piedmont area. We took care of the birds a few minutes ago.

It's raining here in Sacramento. We had a very light snow flurry early in this "winter" season here. It'll probably be another 5 years before it snows in the valley again.

It's been coming down heavy in Atlanta since about 9AM. Sticking, too.

Tonight and tomorrow morning's rush hours--it'll get down in the 20's overnight--are going to be a demolition derby around here.

Yea it had just started.
They're calling for 2-5" which would put us close to 20" for the season, way above the average.

Not a flake. Not one frigging flake this whole winter. I'm feeling very ripped off. The lawn is growing like mad, and it got its first mowing of the year this morning. Boo hiss. No, I don't live in a place like Atlanta, Sacramento, or Houston where snow is a rarity; I'm in the Pac NW for pity's sake. Sad We're setting new records for warm winter temperatures, and we'll be short of water pretty soon because the snow pack in the mountains in so low. There are places further north that are already rationing water. This is bizarre.

Worse than 2005 ?

That snow probably should be up here if El Nino weren't affecting weather like they claim it is.
Don't mind sharing most of it all with someone else for a change. :-)

Give it back, you snow-thief! That should be ours!

(Just kidding - you can keep it if you want to.)

especially considering those chuckleheads initially said it would probably miss us and if it did hit us, it would be a mere dusting . . . if that.
