Whats a Sports Therapist?

A relative lost their job, and now wants to spend 60 weeks at a private college to learn to be a Sports THerapist.

What do Sport Therapists do and where do they work?

Assuming your not talking about physical therapists; high end competitors use them to help overcome mental obstacles: stuck on performance plateaus, competition nerves that thwart success, motivation to practice, etc. etc.

If they're good at it, they actually can achieve positive results.

I know a lot of people who have gone for "sports therapy" for RSI problems and injuries. Especially muscle rehabilitation after ligament operations .

I was gonna say that I think Tiger Woods was seeing a Sports Therapist--actually more like 14 of them. ;-)
