Then you either take the risk and order, or don't, and buy elsewhere.,

No website is secure. HTTPS is an indication that they have a secure certificate installed on the server. You should also see a lock icon or similar in the browser, depending on the browser. I see no website at happytiffins.com nor www.happytiffins.com

Hi Kap,
Our website is secure. Please also click on the Secure Website certificate and our Authorized.net merchant verification badges which can be seen on the footer throughout the website. This will verify our secure server status. FYI: It's always a good idea for people to know how to check these things when they are purchasing from a merchant. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. Thanks! Andrea President, Happy Tiffin

So, looking at the site, I can see they are using a GoDaddy secure certificate. That said, there are some problems with the way the site is configured. If you're on one of the secure pages like https://www.happytiffin.com/login.php then click off to a non-secure page, like the Contact link in the footer nav, the page wont load. Problem occurs in both FF and Safari. In Firefox, the error message read "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."
HappyTiffin wrote: Congrats on finding this site and posting an answer. FWIW, merchant verification badges aren't necessarily reliable. But the browser does verify the certificate for the domain. Also, I'm not really a fan of commercial websites hiding behind domain registration proxies. Your site does seem professional and legit, so I wouldn't have a problem buying from it.

M A V I C,
Interesting, I had the same error message using GC browser on our Windows Vista desktop. Hmm.

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback everyone. I will forward this info to my developer. Not sure why those pages won't load when clicking from a secure page. I spend most of my time testing that checkout works as expected, etc. As for the Domain Proxy... i did not consider the perspective you present - i actually considered it a feature to have the site info restricted, and never thought i would give one pause as to the legitimate status of a site, especially an e-commerce site, but that does have some weight to it. Food for thought! Thanks! Andrea

The reason the site doesn't show up as fully secured (ie: the little lock does not appear in the browser) is because there is a link to an external javascript at
