can you pinch to zoom in/out? doesn't work for me.

I don't care for it to much, some sites don't load correctly and I can't read a lot of text without zooming in (I can in Safari, so much sharper). Until some updates that improve the rendered look of web pages I probable won't use it much unless I'm stuck on a edge connection. But I really haven't had a problem with speed in Safari and I'm not sure that Opera is that much faster on 3g or Wifi, I'm rarely away from 3g or wifi. It does have some good features, so if Opera improves on the way rendered pages look I will try it more in the future.

I gave it another chance and played with it a little more, I may have rushed my judgment about Opera. I do like some aspects of how it works so maybe I will try to use it all day tomorrow and see if it grow on me.

I'm using it right now. Seems pretty nice. Definitely different from Safari.

What did they do about the security thing? Last time I looked, everything get's re-routed through Opera's servers, so you can't do true HTTPS....

Opera is supposed to compress a lot of data before sending it to a phone, so it's supposed to be pretty fast.
Any seat-of-the-pants comparisons to Safari? Does it work on your favorite banking site? |
