"...Get by with a little help from my friends" is truer and truer every day. We're all pulling for you and your family. I hope that your sister is using the resources that Hospice provides. She's no doubt dealing with 'survivor guilt'... active caretakers tend to beat themselves up more with the sort of "If I had only done...." kind of thought processes.
You'll find the time to tell the stories about positive interactions and negative interactions with your father. Write 'em down.. they will become useful explaining the relationships to family and friends.
