Six Days to Cloverfield. Viral Marketing Hoax? - spearmint - 01-11-2008 How can you develop a serious monster movie with a budget of the published $30 million? 30mm does not buy a lot of CGSE and fake blood. No reference to budget find it yourself, this is just a fun site. http://www.feoamante.com/Movies/Big_Horror/Clover_Field/Clover_Field.html Maybe a quick hit and run like the Howard Stern movie? Once the believers are sucked in a quick fade to black? Does the release on the last day of the MWSF make this even more suspicious? Those Illuminati are clever. Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. Also was a very good movie, it was a love letter to his wife. Just because you hate something there is no need to lie. BGnR Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. We are definitely going to be there on Friday... Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. Not a lot of staying power. Did not mean anything about funniness of movie or Howard. Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. The facts speak otherwise.: http://imdb.com/title/tt0119951/business Also, the next week it went head to head against the re-released Star Wars which had moved it's re-release date back a week to not go directly against "Private Parts". I saw that one early enough that there wasn't a lot of reviews or hype built up. I was glad to have seen it during the day. I know a lot of people didn't care for it. Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. Viral Marketing Hoax? - Zoidberg - 01-11-2008 incognegro - same thought exactly; a "Blair Witch Project meets Godzilla" kind of thing. As for Cloverfield; good example of viral marketing. Have been following off and on since the summer. Was a lot of fun trying to find clues. Re: Six Days to Cloverfield. Viral Marketing Hoax? - particleman - 01-11-2008 Seems like kind of a quiet campaign. Even Blair Witch had more buzz associated with it. Re: Six Days to Cloverfield.
