I've certainly better odds of escaping a stabbing than a gunshot. Then again, I run pretty well.

We don't need to ban guns.
We need to increase the price of bullets to $50 each.

Are you denying that a knife could have just as easily fallen out, landed in one victim, then fell out and landed in the second? This continued fallacy that guns are somehow more dangerous than knives is, is ... Unfair to my hobby!

It is very unlikely that a gun would go off just being dropped, especially when it is in a backpack. What was it? A revolver with the hammer cocked?

The real question should be why was this gun not locked up in a safe with a trigger lock and the ammo locked up in another location? The owner of that firearm has a lot of explaining to do.
