Although the Insane Clown Posse is more my preferred style... (Don't forget Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Zug Izland, Jamie Madrox, Monoxide Child, ect) These are a few bands that I like during different moods. They're pretty diverse in style..

I've also been grooving to the Black Keys often lately. They're really simple garage rock style, but I just really like it for some reason.
I'm really strongly recommending eMusic these days. They're second to iTunes for popularity, the tracks are higher quality MP3s without any DRM. They keep a list of all of your purchases so that you can go back and re-download anything that you've already purchased. This means that I don't have to fret as much about backing up my tunes because I can get to them at any time later. And the downloads are MUCH cheaper than iTunes. About $.25/ea.

Everything about eMusic sounds good, except for the subscribing part. I don't think I need 40 downloads a month, certainly not every month. Can you just buy songs without subscribing? I can't find it any mention on the web site. I wouldn't mind if it was more expensive that way.
