I think I paid close to $100 once for a pair of "nice" hiking boots at the insistence of my wife, and the only time I ever wear them is at her parents' house in the mountains. I have a couple of pairs of "dress" shoes that I wear once or twice a year when I get dressed up, like for a wedding or funeral. I'm wearing Rockport slip on shoes right now at work. I probably paid $50-60 for them. They are very comfortable. Re: shoe recommendation - lost in space - 10-02-2013 I need shoes with a stiff, supporting sole and have found Geox to be the best for me. I use orthotics and a lift in the left one. Breathable, $180 - $ ![]() Re: shoe recommendation - NewtonMP2100 - 10-02-2013 uh, some of those shoes are fugly......... |
