I would suggest a used D7000 or D300/s over a D90. The two models I mentioned have more weather seals. In a humid equatorial region such as where you will be, it might help.


Lenses will be dependent on what you are shooting but general, I have been happy with my 18-270mm Tamron for walk around purposes.
