Then I started going up despite working harder and eating better. I was building muscle and the fat was going down. There will be phases of uncertainty and the body will want to relax and gain fat again. I hit several walls but I pushed forward and my body fat us definitely down. Adding casein protein has helped feed my body and decreased my food cravings. Good luck. Thanks. I'm not discouraged in terms of exercise - I'm still doing well. I think as the weather cools off I'll begin to combine rows and walks in the same day and thus boost my calories burned in a day by quite a bit. There's no doubt I've lost some fat and built some muscles. I think I'm wishing for more information, like some measure of how much fat I've lost. Using Runkeeper and Fitbit (which seems to be working better for me now) definitely helps motivation. Exercising is coming easier to me than changing my diet, although I have been cutting back on the amount I eat and the amount of salt I use. |
