Re: Spent part of last weekend in the hospital. - Grateful11 - 08-29-2018 I was actually scheduled to see my spine specialist's PA for spinal imaging today because of some new back pain problems I've been having but I postponed it for 3 three weeks. I'm going to ask my GP tomorrow if he'll order blood work for my Pancreas and Gall Bladder. "By the way, did you take your records & history with you to the ER? You should." On my records, the hospital they took me to is in the same network as my GP and they have my records on computer going back about 6 years. Beyond that as far as GP records, my Dr. before my current GP lost his license to practice and he wasn't affiliated with any hospital that I'm aware of. Odd how about a dozen a year showed up in his clinic. My dad was one of the VERY rare cases where it was fatal. It is certainly frustration when the medical professionals just say "Huh, that's odd" and send you on your way. Happens to my partner more often than not. Re: Spent part of last weekend in the hospital. - Grumpyguy - 08-30-2018 I have no advice for you except to good luck. The numbness on the right side, could it have been related to your disks or bad back? Maybe with all the stress, nerves were pinched? Re: Spent part of last weekend in the hospital. - Filliam H. Muffman - 08-30-2018 I hope it's nothing long term serious. Long term use of Prilosec/Omeprazole is implicated in a small percentage of osteoporosis and heart problems. There is a small chance you have a pinched nerve because of spine degeneration. Re: Spent part of last weekend in the hospital. - davemchine - 08-30-2018 I will just say that I can sympathize. I’ve had many health issues including my back. I’ve been in and out of the hospital multiple times this year. It is very frustrating especially when you are making an effort to be healthy. I think once it is lost it is just lost for the most part. That’s a very gloomy thought. Re: Spent part of last weekend in the hospital. - mrbigstuff - 08-30-2018 Zoinks. Sure it was not a TIA? |
