I think he's talking about the only currently shipping standalone trackpad, the Magic Trackpad 2.

The Space Gray MTP2 is part of the Mac Pro lineup along with a matching Al keyboard.
They're nice looking an all, but I'm about Space Gray'ed out.
I like the standard MTP2.
But my heart will always belong to trackball devices, starting with the Kensington TurboMouse.
