Our family enjoyed "The Time Traveler's Wife". To define a given movie as crap only describes one's own preferences. I'll have to say I first tried reading the book and after 30 pages returned it to the library as it seemed confusing. Enjoyed the movie though.

Waterworld had some very tolerable parts. I think if they'd intelligently cut about a half hour out of it they would have had a decent movie.
...but Postman?!!
David Brin has written some very good stuff, but that one was a turd that should have been flushed.

The good news is Doc's opinion SUCKS!!!! Because ABC has said they plan a TV Series based on this TTW storyline. Nyahhh nyahhh!!!

I enjoyed reading The Postman more than the movie, but still found it to be enjoyable. Waterworld could have been better.

Kevin Costner should be banned from making any more movies.
He is almost, but not quite as awful an actor as Nicolas Cage.
