Does anyone ever call for a part national boycott ?

:bunny:

Yes, in fact, they do. The most famous is the Montgomery bus boycott, but there have been more. The table grapes boycott started in the Central Valley of California and spread nationwide after campaigning politicians, including Robert F. Kennedy, gave it some traction. At the moment there are several local boycotts of AHAVA, a cosmetics company that still practices animal testing.

That would be a local or regional boycott.

Obviously your remark has some sort of private meaning to you, billb, but if you didn't mean local or regional then WTF did you mean by part national? A joke isn't funny if nobody can understand it.

No more idiotic than the Target boycott.

I am no longer a weekly Target shopper as I once was. I don't support WallyWorld either (unless I know they're losing money)
so thankfully their is still Meijer, which I find beats both on many levels. Oh - and Rural King because I can take the doggie.

It's funny and sad that people are boycotting Target because some of their money (through a second party) went to a candidate who has the same policy position on gay marriage as Obama.

So I should stop buying GM cars. Leading by example?

Speaking of funny and sad - see above posts

Why should I support their hypocrisy. Lots of other choices.
